Start your own worm colony from the very beginning with live Red Wiggler cocoons. Cocoons are the eggs of composting worms and will hatch into baby worms when kept in warm, moist bedding.

Each cocoon may produce 1–3 baby worms (I've even heard up to 15!), making this a great option for patient beginners or anyone wanting to scale slowly and naturally.

Cocoons are shipped in breathable bedding and are easy to add directly to a prepared worm bin or starter tray.

What to Expect

• Hatching typically begins within 2–4 weeks, depending on conditions
